The New Bridge

This past weekend brought so much fun, but the highlight was definitely the new walking bridge. Louisville has turned an old train trestle bridge across the Ohio river into a beautiful walking, biking bridge for the public. All the city is abuzz about this new bridge!

On Sunday we had the most amazing day. Bagels at our favorite bagel shop, followed by walking the new bridge. After that we went to the Kentucky Museum of Arts and crafts to see a new exhibit by Matthew Ronay. Oak man went to high school with this artist and was excited to see his current work. Then we headed across the street for a community yoga class at 21c. This is becoming one of our favorite Sunday afternoon activities. Skater Girl opted to just sketch and read in the museum instead of doing yoga with us, but I just love it when the Oak man and I get to practice together!

We decided to catch up on some of our yoga poses for the February challenge while we were doing the bridge walk. It was a spectacular day!

There were so many folks out walking! Can't wait to see what it will be like in the spring!
